Windows live mail search not working

When searching for header lines the search works fine. But when searching for text within the content of the email its not working correctly. Using Ctrl-Shift-F works but it takes a very long time to get the search results. Do you think it I remove some old emails which are no longer required, will speed up the process? I am hoping that someone can provide a permanent fix, maybe recommend downloading a certain windows update which will resolve the problem, as this is what I did last time and the search was fixed.

Update: I reindexed WLM again hoping it was fix the problem, but this time I can no longer search a field of text in the content of an email using Ctrl-Shift-F, it will only allow me to search using a single word. This same problem happened a few years ago and it was fixed by installing another windows update ….
