As much as I enjoy playing this game, and I do, because I love home decor and design and I have a true eye for both, I am disappointed in the scoring that is going on. I feel that mostly I play it just to have my own portfolio of creative and beautiful rooms. The furniture and architecture that you use is top of the line. Some of the atrocious designs that get five points over a beautiful design that I have created which only gets 3. Use the 2D mode to create floor plans and design layouts with furniture and other home items, or switch to 3D to explore and edit your design from any angle.

Edit colors, patterns and materials to create unique furniture, walls, floors and more - even adjust item sizes to find the perfect fit. Use the Snapshots feature to capture your design as a realistic image - this adds shadows, lighting and rich colors to make your work look like a photograph!

Experiment with both 2D and 3D views as you design from various angles. Arrange, edit and apply custom surfaces and materials. Explore our project gallery and browse our content.

We have something great in store for everyone in our user-generated library. The intuitive and user-focused interface provides an easy design process without any tutorials or instructions.

Apply custom colors, patterns and materials to furniture, walls and floors to fit your interior design style. Join other players talking about games. Visit the Y8 Forum. Go to Forum Hide. If any players are looking for more games that allow them to indulge in their vision for their future home they'll get when they finally move out or to simply let out their ingenious ideas in some way, these are just some of the games out there that let you do that.

Updated January 5th, by Thomas Bowen: One of the things that makes video games so enjoyable is their ability to provide an escape from the burdens of real life. Sometimes, however, they can instead be used as a window through which a slightly different version of reality can be seen. Rather than a normal house or apartment, players can visit a world in which they live underground or even in outer space. What's more, they can decorate their new homes almost any way that they like.

These games are fantastic for those looking for an outlet for their creativity or perhaps even some inspiration for redecorating their current home. Along with sustenance, shelter is one of our key requirements when it comes to basic survival. It was perhaps something of an inevitability then that survival games would evolve to the point where base-building has become standard. Subnautica was far from the first to implement it, but it is definitely one of the more unique examples owing to its underwater setting.

There are few restrictions when it comes to designing the size and shape of your base , although, generally speaking, the sky is usually the limit. Those looking for more of an interior design experience might be left wanting by what the game has to offer. If your aim is to build something that looks cool and is fun to explore though, Subnautica definitely has you covered. What could be better than designing your dream home?

Well, how about doing so on a Caribbean Island, perhaps? If that sounds like something that you'd enjoy then Home Design: Caribbean Life is definitely worth a look - even if it's just a momentary glance. The game's UI is incredibly intuitive and everything looks fantastic. The wide range of furniture and customization options allows for some incredible designs that would make even the odd millionaire a little envious.

The beautiful scenery only adds to the game's fantastic visuals which are incredibly impressive for a mobile game. The Harvest Moon series has always excelled when it comes to its customization options. Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town is no different in this regard. The recent Switch remake looks fantastic and allows players to not only decorate their homes, but also the areas surrounding them.
