Fall guy by liz reinhardt pdf

She is so much better a character than Brenna! I actually cant really stand Brenna. Just everything she does irritates me to no end.

I found Evan a big relief. I'm really sad that there wasn't a whole series wrote on her instead. I'm literally bummed out. I was so rooting for this girl. She knew what she was doin'! I kind of would have liked to see her go up against that pesky little Lala.

That would have been something interesting! Their relationship is a struggle. They have a hard time just figuring out if their relationship can last to the next second when they really just want to be together for as long as they can and hoping all the while that it's gonna be forever.

Obstacles get in their way. They weigh the worth of their love, the fight, the sacrifice to be together. Now my heart is desperate in my chest, like a bird crashing into a window over and over again, confused that it can't get to what it sees and wants, and willing to kill itself in the attempt to remedy that.

And the passion! The sex! I was drenched in sweat. My heart, my body were exerting so much energy in the attempt to NOT get worked up.

Winch got to me. He got me ALL over. He spoke his language during sex. Whispered sweet promises sexy things that we really aren't savvy to but know it's freaking hotter than a wildfire in July in Hungarian. If you're not creaming your pants now, just wait. I could go on all day long but I'm just going to leave you with the knowledge of all that, the fact that this is IN FACT a FIVE STAR review, and a little bit of this: I'll spend the rest of my life falling as far and deep and hard as my heart will let me go in love with this perfect, crazy girl who taught me to let go and hold on.

I know in that minute I'll be Evan's fall guy until the day I die, and my future, for the first time in my life, is an always I can't wait to fall into. How sweeeeeeeeet is that? WOW Liz Reinhardt just rocked my world. I loved Evan and Winch there are the perfect couple. I even love Winch more than Saxon which is saying a lot. Fall Guy is my favourite new adult contemp romance this year. When is book 2 releasing??????? Oct 14, Christy rated it really liked it. I loved Winch and Evan! His family aggravated me and I didn't like how some things went down, but I was super happy with the ending :D I loved Winch and Evan!

I love anything Liz Reinhardt writes. She could come out with a book that's called Riding the Waves of Post-Menopause Depression and I'd think it's the most brilliant book out there.

How's that possible? It's simple. Her writing is addictive. You start on page one and there's no way you'll be able to put the book down. She's able to intertwine an amazing plot, seriously addictive characters, with a romance so edgy, steamy, and real that it equals the perfect combination for a T I love anything Liz Reinhardt writes.

She's able to intertwine an amazing plot, seriously addictive characters, with a romance so edgy, steamy, and real that it equals the perfect combination for a TOP READ! The characters she creates are always an instant hit for me. I'm picky when it comes to characters.

I don't want to read about a meek, shy girl who constantly doubts her looks and falls for the wrong guy. Her female characters hold so much strength and vulnerability. I feel like Evan Lennox is a girl that any of us could know. That's how real she feels! Let's go through the list if you don't believe me. Evan's confident? Evan is a smart ass? Evan's emotional? Evan has issues that are REAL? Let's go to Winchester Youngblood. That name gives me the good chills. You have them too!!

Look at your arms That name just makes me instantly think that the Youngblood's would be rubbing shoulders with a Kennedy or Rockefeller. From the first scene you're going to be wondering about Winch and all the secrets that he's with holding from the world. He's so completely taken with Evan that he battles his instincts to remain loyal to his family, or for the first time, remain loyal to his heart.

The cover is perfect. The cover says it all. Can't you just picture Evan grabbing Winch's face and telling him to "Let. It's VERY rare for me to say this Liz doesn't rely on the heat between Evan and Winch to keep this book going.

You'll keep turning the page because you wanna know what's happening, and going on with both families, and you WANT to know how it will effect both Evan and Winch!!

Run from this post. Hurdle over your children to your kindle, nook, iPad, whatever. Get it? When you're in a post book coma as good as Winchester Youngblood Jul 30, Mlpmom Book Reviewer rated it it was amazing Shelves: kindle-books , author-request , arc-book-read. I really love Liz's work. All of her characters are just fantastic. They all feel like real people to me and someone that I would know and care about and just want to simply hang out with and be friends.

This latest book is no exception. I just fell in love with Evan and Winch. They were both so flawed and real and I just loved that about them. I loved that they truly needed each other.

They needed to save each other, but they also needed to save themselves, for themselves in order to be all the I really love Liz's work. They needed to save each other, but they also needed to save themselves, for themselves in order to be all they could be for each other too.

And that made them feel so real to me. I think this by far, is my favorite book that Liz has written. It just really hit home for me for whatever reason. I felt everything that Evan and Winch were going through and I connected with them and really ended up caring about them. I made the unfortunate mistake of starting this one the same day that I started another fabulous read and therefore I was really torn between which book to read at any given moment.

If it weren't for that though, I seriously would have read this in one sitting, it was that good. I was pretty hooked after the first chapter and did end up giving this one all of my attention, it demanded it from me and I was helpless to argue. So be warned, make sure you have time on your hands before you start this because even if you don't, you aren't going to get anything else done that day.

I really love how Liz unraveled the mystery surrounding not only why Evan is the way she is party girl central but also all of Winch's secrets as well. And not only his secrets, but his families too. I really loved how loyal and strong he was. He was the perfect case of the bad boy not really being all he appeared to be on the outside. By the time I was done reading this, I was so incredibly proud of both Winch and Evan.

I can't even tell you how proud. They both turned out to be a whole lot stronger than either one imagined they could be. They knew what they wanted and the grabbed for it and held on tight. I am so sad this is over. Really sad. I want more Winch and Evan. Liz, this truly was a beautiful coming of age story about doing what is right. Believing in yourself and making those hard decisions that are never easy but are the ones that are best for us.

For making sure that we follow our dreams and make them happen. And I thank you for writing is so wonderfully and meaningfully. For creating two characters that will forever live with me. Sep 22, Krissy P Kris rated it really liked it. Fall Guy is a fun read. Evan and Winch's story is crazy and complicated. Although it's engaging, it's also aggravating, but you can't help but hope these two will get it together.

Evan Lennox loves bad boys. She attracts them like moths to a flame, but she always gets burned and the last boy to break her heart was the reason for her recent legal problems and accidental arson which landed her in Court. Here she meets Winchester for the first time. They are assigned Community Service together and s Fall Guy is a fun read. They are assigned Community Service together and she falls hard and fast for the new bad boy in her life.

Winchester Youngblood is the "fall guy" for his crazy ass family. I'm not entirely sure what his family's business is, but I am sure it's not entirely legal.

Winchester and his siblings are all named after gun makers. That right there gives you your first hint that his parents are nuttier than squirrel shit. Winch's older brother, Remington err Remy is a major screw up.

He has a serious drinking problem and always manages to get himself in trouble and poor Winchester always has to pick up the peices for him and take the blame. What I loved about Winch was his love for Evan.

She was everything to him, he was crazy about her. What I hated about Winch was that he let his family's problems rule his life, even to the point of almost losing Evan forever. He let his father run his life and his father let him take the blame for Remy's crimes.

I hated his parents. They did not give a crap about Winch's future or what would happen to him so long as he would cover for his drunken loser brother. Evan is the best thing that happened to him and she finally helped him locate his balls and stand up for himself.

View 2 comments. I really liked Evan's character, she seemed like a strong girl who'd made a mistake and realized the error of her ways.

Enter Winchester Youngblood, I wanted to like this guy but I couldn't seriously I tried but he let me down over and over again. He had this unwavering loyalty to to his family and felt as if he owed them something. Seriously they said jump and he was like "how high? And whenever he's brother was in trouble he would immediately drop everything and come to his rescue.

I don't even want to get started on the brother, he's older brother might I add. What a mess! Seriously this guy had no sense of responsibility, he was like a baby and everyone had to walk on eggshells around him! He made me sick! And whenever Evan would try and point this out Winchester would just stand up for him and his family! I'm sorry to say this but Winchester was just plain weak, Evan had to initiate everything!

Even when he's father was being unreasonable, she stood up for him and only then did he find the guts to say something! As for the rest of the family, they all had loud opinions when it came to everything else except when it had something to do with Winch.

He was like their freaking babysitter cleaning up after them! God I felt so sorry for this guy at times. I was seriously exasperated the entire time I read this book, I have some real respect for Evan and what she put up with because I found myself saying "Eff him Evan he's not worth it!

I gave this story three stars because even though I didn't like what happened I still had to know the story, I was still interested and that's huge for me because if I don't like a book I abandon ship no questions asked. Jul 14, Jennifer rated it it was amazing Shelves: hea , series-duets , dual-pov , young-adult-love-story , tattooed-boys. Just finished will write review soon: Okay So I have to say I really enjoyed this book.

I fell in love with Evan in Slow Twitch. She is a strong character but still has her insecurities. I also liked how she stood up to Winch and put him in his place. Winch was fabulous, but i did want to smack him around a couple of times and tell him to wake up!!!!!

I thought the secret that Winch was hiding in the beginning was an interesting one I haven't read a book with this issue starting this soon!!! I haven't read a book with this issue before. Let's just say I understand the title of the book better now that I have read it. I was really happy with the ending of this book. I was glad to see Remy was going to get the help he needed and that things seemed to work out for Winch and Evan. I truly love Liz Reinhardt's books Remington, Winchester, Benelli, Ithaca, and Colt.

All the boys names are named after brand names of guns Anyway I would say that if you have read the Brenna Blixen books then you should definitely read this book as well.

Brenna does make an appearance. Although this book can also be read as a stand alone. Can't wait to read more from this series View all 12 comments.

Jul 27, Julia Kai rated it it was amazing. Aug 21, Ellelou rated it really liked it. Why 3. It started well, girl meets boy, instant attraction and the story was going somewhere. But the author' s penchant for use of similes and metaphors was at some places distracting and I found myself zoning off and having to go back and re-read the page, therefore the story wasn't flowing as easy as I would have liked.

The dialogue between Evan and Winchester was a bit hard to believe, they came across very mature and older than their age. This is Evan after meeting Winchester for the first time: I smell him, and it's a smell that's not part of the deep, salty musks of this area. It's clean and fresh and sweet. Something foreign and intoxicating. It smells like clover, wet with a sheen of overnight dew. This is a story about families, the strong ties and loyalties that can both keep you behind or help you learn from yours and others' mistakes and move forward, on this case depending on which family you belong to.

This is a story about finding true love and discovering yourself and your strengths. I loved Evan, she came across as funny, smart and mature admittedly at times more than possible for someone that young. Winch, was very sexy, sensitive and very loyal to his family and I felt sorry for him to have to keep the burden of his family's secrets. He gave this air of calm and in control and for a very long time had put himself in a role where it was expected that he'd sacrifice himself for others' mistakes.

This went to the extent that he'd given up his life, his future and never even indulged himself in any dreams. As Evan and Winch get to know each other, acknowledging the attraction between them, admitting to themselves and each other how wrong they are for each other, their love grows and gets stronger and you can't help but hope that they finally would get together without any more obstacles. The make out and love scenes are extra hot, these two might be young but they come across as very experienced lovers.

We see Winch conflicted, divided between his feeling for Evan and his duties to his family, what is expected of him. He tries, and he tries hard. Evan is a very good influence and her patience and determination helped him to come out of his shell. I will never break your heart. I will never hurt you. I might fuck up, I might not be perfect, but I'll never hurt you, Evan.

You have my word. She was feisty, sexy, and not only once was she whiny or needy. She did have her moments of self doubt but she never really gave up on her love for Winch.

She genuinely cared for him and while it would have been easy to ask him to choose between her and his family, she never did. She wanted him to cut the ties with his family for the right reasons, to set himself free. A guy who's ready to fall because he's between a rock and a cliff's edge. And, as his body clings close to mine and shudders right along with me, I know he thinks this is the end.

That this is his last grab before the long, lonely descent. What he doesn't realize is that I'm already standing at the bottom, waiting to catch him.

And I never miss. It was amazing to see her coax him, one step at a time, to open up, to let go and start thinking for himself and his future. She stood up to his family, despite how dysfunctional and intimidating they were.

Page after page we see a different Winch. He changed before our eyes, from a cocky, calm and controlled young man, to a boy who was afraid to let himself go and live life like anyone his age is entitled to.

It takes a near tragedy and tough love from Evan to complete his transformation. The little game that Evan used to play always, sometimes, never , well in the end, his answer is without any hesitation: I'll always love my family. I'll see them sometimes. I'll never be under their thumb again. There were some very sweet moments and I totally felt for Winch. He was robbed of his dreams and his chance of living a normal life. I enjoyed the last part of the book the best. While at first we felt frustrated, angst for his "it's complicated " life, the book ends in high notes of hope.

Fall Guy - The guy who is left with the blame for a crime, regardless of whether they were involved or not. Top it all off with her boyfriend cheating with her ex-best friend, it definitely got out of hand and burning stuffs that reminds her of him lands her into court. Evan was a smart, sassy and funny character.

Winchester Tobar Youngblood is - freaking' hot — and is whatever anyone needs. By disturbing the peace and public intoxication he also ends up in court. He's just the good guy caught on a very bad situation. I really do feel bad for him being obligated to do stuffs for his family I feel bad for him being obligated to do stuffs for his family, I know you should do things for your family but with Winch it became a responsibility an obligation that could ruin his own life.

When these two meet, sparks immediately fly. The attraction with them was potent and deep so when they end up on the same community service the attraction grew more. Their flirting was really steamy and swoony to read and Winch's resistant to Evan's little flirting was so cute. There are parts that these two made me teary eyed. The times when Winch leaves Evan to go to his family almost breaks my heart.

The game Never, Always, Sometimes is one of the most hitting scenes in the story. I admit, it sounds easy but the game itself was obviously hard at the same time very much fitting for the story. In all, Fall guy is a good read. The story was unique and very much unpredictable. Aug 05, Autumn Review rated it it was amazing Shelves: review , arc , favorites.

I was super excited about getting this book. I'm a huge fan of the Brenna Blixen Series, where we met Evan. I adored her immediately and wished on a star for a book of her own. Wish granted! Evan is smart, sassy, and resilient. This girl has come through some pretty bad family drama. Her parents have never given her much attention and she's been betrayed by her old best friend. As a result, she has to go to court. There she meets Winch. They both get assigned to do community service.

The attraction between them is deep. The problem is that Evan isn't sure she wants to take the risk and get hurt by a guy again. Winchester Youngblood is not as he appears. While you think he's a typical bad boy, he really isn't.

Winch is responsible, sensitive, loyal, and swoony. He falls hard for Evan and is determined to make her see that his feelings for her are real. The biggest obstacle getting in the way is his family. Winch feels obligated to take care of his family. When they call, he runs. This becomes a big issue for he and Evan. Ultimately, he needs to decide if having a future with Evan is more important than risking it all for his family.

Liz always sucks me into these characters lives. I feel like I know them and root for them to be happy. This story, while connected to the Brenna Blixen Series, has a very different feel. I loved that. We're introduced to a whole new cast of characters that intrigued me and left me wanting to know more. So, I was thrilled to hear that we will learn more about the Youngbloods.

There is definitely much to be discovered. I loved Winch's siblings and want them all to find a happy ending. Just want to mention that we do get to see little bits of Brenna. I love that girl and was thrilled to see her relationship with Evan continues to be strong.

Although, it made me homesick for Jake Kelly. I loved every minute of this book and was sad to see it end. My only consolation was knowing that perhaps I will get a glimpse of Evan and Winch in the upcoming Youngblood books. His breath wheezes from his mouth in labored gasps. August is an uncompromisingly hot month in Georgia, and the humidity makes his lungs constrict. It's painful for Gramma and I to see Granddaddy operating at less than his usual cyclone-riding-a-galloping-mustang energy level.

No matter what the judge decides. Composure in the face of any obs tacle is just how the women of our stock function. Gramma squeezes his elbow and runs her hand in relaxing circles on his forearm.

Kailyn made a big batch before she left last night. Come on, now. Evan needs to get a move-on, or she'll be late. This is my own mess, and I'm going to take care of it all by myself.

I show up with you, and the judge assumes I think I can get myself out of this using my name. I run my hand down the shiny, curved wood of the left stai rcase that leads into the gleam of our crystal-filled front foyer, m y feet tripping over the marble tiles before I burst through to the heat , so stagna nt the air feels heavy and dead.

I slide in to the mechanically cool interior of the car I pre-started as quickly as possible and head to court early. I manage to hang on to my cheery forced optimism all the way to the courth ouse door s , in through the metal- detectors, and right up to the doorway of my assigned courtroom, but that's where I watch my confidence explode like a water ballo on dropped to the cement from thirty stories up.

I'm positive the splash of my shattered courage should be audible, but no one gives so much as a quarter glance my way. Lawyers with scuffed briefcases, a man with slicked-back hair and a clip-on tie, and a woman in saggy sweatpants rolled at the waist walk by, but no one notices me skulking in the corner. My gold watch flashes from the limp bend of my wrist, warning me not to be tardy, not to make a bigger, more complicated mess of this than I already have.

I'm tempted to call my best friend, my life-line, Brenna, but what would she say? She'd make me go in, and I can't do that. So I sit on the chilly slate floor, not worried about the wrinkles setting in on the sheath dress Gramma pressed for me this morning. I bury my head in my clammy hands a nd resolve to stare at the tiles until I manage to convince them to open wide and ingest me whole.

A voice punctures through my self-pity and fear. A smooth, obnoxiously confident voice with the undercurrent of an accent I've never heard before and can't place.
