Short term commitment including four, 1-hour meetings. Participants are compensated for their time. Caregivers, we are inviting you to join a fitness study to find the best ways to help caregivers increase physical activity. This study is looking at the effects of pet dogs on stress in older adults and their in-home family caregivers. Participation includes a one-time, approximately two-hour session completed at home where participants older adults and their caregivers will fill out surveys on their stress level and quality of life.

The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and includes questions about how you have felt during the pandemic and your experiences of accessing support, including how this has been impacted …. The goal of the study is to see if a group, in-person dementia caregiver education and support program can be successfully done virtually, that is, by using a laptop or tablet connected to the internet.
